1 Choose model files

Your skin's .dff and .txd files, both together

No model selected

DFF is the model. TXD contains its textures. On a computer, hold Ctrl and click both files.

Where are my model files?

Open the skin's Skin IDs page. It shows the model name. The two files have this name: skin 285 is swat.dff and swat.txd. Skin 0 (CJ) is the exception.
GTA skins are inside the game's .img archive. Take the DFF and TXD out with Spark and TXD Workshop.
Choose both files here.

CIT's own skins are in the CIT plrmods files. This page cannot read an installed game automatically.

Other files you can open (GLB, PNG, JPG, WebP)

You can also include PNG, JPG or WebP textures with matching names. Or choose one GLB file instead of the DFF and TXD. GLB files must contain their own textures.

2 Try a shader image Optional

First, choose the part of the skin to change

Each part is a material. The names come from your model. Choose one first. Then you can choose your image.

Then, choose your shader image

No shader image selected

CIT takes shaders as JPG only, up to 1024 x 1024. This preview also opens PNG and WebP.

Files stay on this device

Your browser reads the models and images. This tool does not upload or save them. Choose Clear files or close the page when you finish.

Lighting and shaders may look different in MTA. Check your final design in the game.
