== Overview ==

`Weapon Sounds` lets you choose custom sounds for your [[weapons]].

It uses:

* <code>/wepsounds</code>

You can also control the general weapon-sound setting in:

* <code>/settings</code>

== Custom sound files ==

Custom weapon sound files must:

* end in <code>.wav</code>
* or end in <code>.mp3</code>

They must be placed in this folder:

* <code>mods &gt; deathmatch &gt; resources &gt; CITsounds &gt; sounds</code>

inside your `MTA` install folder.

== How to change weapon sounds ==

To change your weapon sounds:

* open <code>/wepsounds</code>
* select the weapon from the list on the left
* select the sound from the list on the right
* press `Apply`

== Turning custom weapon sounds on or off ==

To turn custom weapon sounds on or off:

* open <code>/settings</code>
* toggle `Custom Weapon Sounds`

== Priority ==

The sound you pick in <code>/wepsounds</code> takes priority over:

* `Custom Weapon Sounds` in <code>/settings</code>

== Notes ==

* `Weapon Sounds` uses custom sound files stored in the `CITsounds` folder.
* Supported custom sound file types are <code>.wav</code> and <code>.mp3</code>.
* <code>/wepsounds</code> is the main menu for choosing weapon sounds.
* The sound selected in <code>/wepsounds</code> overrides the normal `Custom Weapon Sounds` setting.
