== What dimensions affect ==

Dimensions affect visibility and interaction.

If a player is in a different dimension:

* you will not see them
* you will not interact with them normally
* they can be in the same map area but still be separated from you

This applies to players and to dimension-based areas and activities.

`Dimension 0` is the main world.

This is the default world where normal gameplay happens unless a system moves you somewhere else.

== Dimension 1 ==

`Dimension 1` is the [[Law Dimension]].

It is used as a separate law-only area.

* some custom objects do not load there

If your friend is online but you still cannot see them, one possible reason is that they are in another dimension.

This can happen even if:

* both of you are at the same map location
* both of you are online at the same time
