Pickpocket is a criminal activity where you try to steal money or [[drugs]] from another player.<br />

== How it works ==<br />

Pickpocket is one of the smaller criminal activities in CIT.<br />
<br />
It is done directly on another player and can reward cash, drugs, and Reputation Points.<br />

If the attempt fails, you do not get the reward.<br />

To pickpocket a player:<br />
<br />
# Stand next to the player.<br />
<br />
# Press X.<br />
<br />
# Click the player.<br />
<br />
# Choose pickpocket.<br />
<br />
If you are caught, the pickpocket attempt fails.<br />

== Rewards ==<br />
<br />
Pickpocket can reward:<br />
<br />
* Up to $5,000<br />
* Up to 50 random drugs<br />
* 35 RP<br />

== Cooldowns and Limits ==<br />
<br />
Pickpocket has multiple cooldown [[rules]]:<br />
<br />
* There is a short cooldown after using it<br />
* The same player has a much longer cooldown of about 30 minutes<br />
* You cannot pickpocket a player who was robbed in the last 10 minutes<br />

Players can use /equip to equip an item that prevents other players from pickpocketing them.<br />

<br />
Pickpocket uses these controls:<br />

* X to interact with the player<br />
* Mouse click to select the player and choose pickpocket<br />

== Pickpocket Notes ==<br />
<br />
* You must stand next to the target player.<br />
* Pickpocket is done through the X interaction menu.<br />
* If you are caught, the attempt fails.<br />
* The reward can be cash, drugs, or RP.<br />
* The same player cannot be pickpocketed again right away.<br />
* Some players may have protection equipped against pickpocketing.<br />
