== How to start ==

[[Traffic Officer]] unlocks at `50` arrests.

After unlocking it, you still need to go to the job marker unless you have `100,000` Arrest Points, which unlocks `/go Traffic Officer`.

The Traffic Officer marker is inside `LSPD`.

== What Traffic Officers do ==

Traffic Officers share normal police arrest powers, but focus on:

* speed enforcement with the camera
* using `/stinger` spike strips

Aim at a vehicle with your camera. If it is going over `110` km/h, you can detect the speed and fine the driver.

The max speeding fine is `$20,000`. Traffic Officers keep `90%`.

== Stinger notes ==

* Use `/stinger` to place spike strips.
* Stingers last about `1` minute.
* `/stinger` has a `7` second cooldown.
* The stinger appears after the deploying cop finishes the animation.
* A stinger deployed from a cop vehicle takes `2.5` seconds before it starts stinging tires.

Traffic Officers:

* catch speeders with the camera
* issue speeding fines

To catch speeders, aim at a vehicle with your camera. If it is going over `110` km/h, you can detect the speed and fine the driver.

Wanted players can damage stingers. Normal weapons do `10%` damage to stingers. Shotguns and sniper rifles do `50%`.

Police cannot place stingers within `50` meters of an active Armed Robbery.

The abandoned vehicle recovery mission in the Traffic Officer job is currently disabled. The older mission used pink tractor icons, a tow truck, and a reward of `500` Iron for each abandoned vehicle delivered.
