The HUD shows level, Progress, Earnings, Top player, job earnings and earn limit, elapsed time, expected bonus time, Detect Load, and Detect Ground. Detect Load changes from None to the attached container color. Detect Ground changes to Yes when the container reaches the ground.
Crane 1 has 5 basic zones. Crane 2 has 7 advanced zones and becomes available after the Cargo Ship docks. A correct Crane 2 placement adds 1 Progress and 1 Earnings. A wrong placement does not increase either value. The mission timer pauses while outside the crane.
Completing a ship usually pays a bonus of 3 times one container's pay, such as $27,000 at L10 with VIP for Crane 2 unloading. The bonus also adds 1 mission progress.
Unloading can reveal a lucky container with Iron, Nitrous, Oil, Explosive, Gold, Engine Parts, Chemicals, or Electronics in addition to normal pay. Roughly 1 in 50 to 1 in 100 unloaded containers is lucky. The resource amount does not rise with rank and is larger on Crane 1 than Crane 2. A lucky container on Crane 2 gives, for example, 76 Iron or 96 Nitrous.
A text bar follows the CIT Cargo ship. While the ship docks, it shows The ship has arrived and is approaching the docks. About 50 seconds later it changes to Enter crane 2 and start unloading containers from the CIT Cargo. While the ship leaves, it shows The ship is leaving the docks, and 45 seconds later The ship is on its way to destination, wait for next mission. The next CIT Cargo is docking message comes about 5 seconds after that.
Ship counts and panel commands
Crane 1 serves the Big Ship; Crane 2 serves CIT Cargo. The count depends on the task: Big Ship needs 58 containers unloaded or 52 loaded; CIT Cargo needs 60 unloaded or 42 loaded. The docking message states how many containers the ship needs. Each payment message shows how many are left.
The Crane Info panel lists /magnet to release the magnet, /cranesound to toggle sound, /craneset to change controls, and /prefercrane to choose a crane mission.
