ATM

Overview

An ATM (Automated Teller Machine) is used for banking. In CIT, you can use ATMs to check your bank balance, withdraw money, or deposit money. ATMs are also used for ATM robbery by criminals.

Banking with an ATM

ATMs can be used for normal banking actions:

Check your bank balance
Withdraw money
Deposit money

You can also check your balance with /bankbalance.

Finding an ATM

Use /batm to find the nearest ATM location. This marks the closest ATM on your map or GPS. It is useful if you do not have Mobile ATM unlocked yet.

Mobile ATM

Mobile ATM lets you bank money anywhere.

Command: /mobileatm
Requirement: you must complete a course in /courses

The CIT KB uses two names for the requirement:

Online Safety course
Safe Online Banking course

Mobile ATM can also be used through your CITPhone.

ATM robbery

ATM robbery is a criminal action that uses a bomb on an ATM.

How to rob an ATM

Use /batm to show ATMs on the map so you can find them.
Go to an ATM and stand inside the green marker.
Use /robatm to plant the bomb.
You get 40 Wanted Points right away.
Wait 1 minute for the bomb timer.
When it explodes, cash drops on the ground.
Walk over the cash to collect it.

Rewards

You receive:

$15,000 without VIP, or $18,000 with VIP
250 Reputation Points (RP)

Cooldown

After robbing an ATM, that same ATM is empty for 10 minutes. It shows this message:

This ATM is completely out of money! Come back in 10 minutes.

You can rob a different ATM during this time.

Commands

Command	What it does
`/batm`	Marks the nearest ATM on your map or GPS. Also used to help find ATMs for ATM robbery.
`/bankbalance`	Checks your bank balance.
`/mobileatm`	Lets you bank money anywhere after completing a course in `/courses`.
`/robatm`	Plants a bomb on an ATM to rob it. You must be inside the green marker at an ATM.

Tips and common mistakes

For robbery, make sure you are inside the green marker before using /robatm.
After a robbery, do not wait at the same ATM for 10 minutes. Use /batm and go to a different ATM.
