Street Cleaner

The Street Cleaner job in CIT is a job where you will help maintain the cleanliness of the streets by collecting garbage and removing graffiti around San Andreas. You'll be using a Sweeper vehicle to collect garbage and clean up the streets, earning money and progressing through levels based on how much you collect. You can also take part in side missions like cutting grass to further contribute to the environment.

How to Get the Job:


To start the Street Cleaner job, you need to either:

  1. Buy a Sweeper:
    • You can buy a Sweeper from the Trucks Shop. Use /gps > Trucks Shop to find the location.
  2. Take a Sweeper from Static Vehicles:
    • You can also take a Sweeper from static vehicles near the Street Cleaner info marker on the map. Use /gps > Street Cleaner to locate it.

How to Work as a Street Cleaner:


Once you have the Sweeper, follow these steps:

  1. Drive Around to Collect Garbage:
    • Drive the Sweeper around the streets and wait for the green blips on your radar to appear. These represent garbage that you need to collect.
    • Drive through the garbage to collect it.
  2. Receive Payment:
    • Wait one minute after collecting garbage to receive payment for all the garbage you've collected. If the job isn't assigned immediately, continue collecting and the job will be assigned later. This won't affect the gameplay or payment.
  3. Remove Graffiti:
    • You can also remove graffiti from the streets, which will contribute to your job progress.
  4. Side Mission – Grass Cutting:
    • There is a side mission available where you can cut grass by entering the mower at the grass marker.

Job Payment:


  • Without VIP hours: You will receive $100 per garbage collected.
  • With VIP hours: You will receive $120 per garbage collected.
