How To Start

To start the City Engineer job:

1. Go to Financial, San Fierro.

1. Take the City Engineer job.

1. Use /tasks or F5 to open the task panel.

1. Pick a task.

1. Go to the marker and finish the assignment.

At Level 10, you unlock:

• /go city engineer

How It Works

City Engineer uses a task panel that shows your available assignments.

Use:

• /tasks
• F5

The task panel also includes:

• Available assignments
• A Settings section
• Mark Objects for house construction

You choose a task from the panel, go to the marker, and complete the objective there.

City Engineers do jobs like:

• Road construction
• House construction
• Fixing damaged city objects
• Building structures
• Working on city utilities

Road Construction

In Road Construction, you do things like:

• Place roadblocks with X
• Clear the big rocks
• Reopen the lane when the task is done
• Fill road holes with a Cement Truck
• Move rocks with a forklift

To fill road holes:

1. Line up behind the hole with a Cement Truck.

1. Press N.

To move rocks with the forklift, use:

• Num 8
• Num 2

If you need to check your Road Construction objectives, use:

• O

House Construction

In House Construction:

1. Go to the marked area.

1. Build the marked house objects step by step.

1. Finish every required piece.

If you need help finding the next build point, use:

• Mark Objects

Mark Objects is available in the task panel.

Tools and Vehicles

City Engineers use:

• Cement Truck for road holes
• Forklift for moving rocks
• Roadblocks for traffic control
• House-building tools for construction tasks

You can also use your own Cement Truck while doing City Engineer tasks.

City Engineer can recover this vehicle without VIP:

• Utility Van

Auto-Start

City Engineer can auto-start new missions.

To enable it:

1. Open /tasks.

1. Open Settings.

1. Enable the option to start a new mission automatically after you finish one.
