Nickname
Nickname is the name shown for you in game.
How to change your nickname
You can change your nickname in two ways:
- use
/nick [new nickname] - open
ESC > Settings > Multiplayer > Nick
Name changes you make while logged in show in the J chat Name Changes channel. To change your name without it showing there, quit the server, change your nickname in ESC > Settings > Multiplayer > Nick, then join and log in again.
Unique player names
Nicknames with repeating characters, such as Arrannnnnnnnn, are blocked. Choose a different name and use /nick [new nickname].
Two players cannot use the exact same in game name.
