Text Above Head

Text Above Head is a chat display setting in CIT. It shows certain private chat messages above nearby members' heads instead of only keeping them in the chatbox.

Overview

The Text Above Head settings are used for:

  • `Unit Chat`
  • `Squad Chat`
  • `Group Chat`

When enabled, those messages appear:

  • above nearby members' heads

Available settings

The available Text Above Head settings are:

  • `Unit Chat Above Head`
  • `Squad Chat Above Head`
  • `Group Chat Above Head`

What each setting does

Setting What it shows
Unit Chat Above Head Shows `Unit Chat` messages above nearby unit members' heads
Squad Chat Above Head Shows `Squad Chat` messages above nearby squad members' heads
Group Chat Above Head Shows `Group Chat` messages above nearby group members' heads

How to change it

To change these settings:

  • open /settings
  • find the chat settings
  • enable or disable the Text Above Head option you want
