How to Complete Electrician Tasks

Tasks will be assigned to you through a ticket system, accessible by pressing F5 or using /jt. Each ticket will show the task description, its location, and the issue you're addressing.

Here are the main types of tasks you'll encounter:

  • Blown Cables: Match wires by color (Yellow to Yellow, Blue to Blue, etc.).
  • Circuit Breakers: Click on the breakers in the correct numbered order.
  • Network Cable Failure: Align cables correctly by ensuring they’re placed exactly in the center of the screen, avoiding overlap.

Once you accept a task, a marker will be placed on your map showing the task's location. Travel to the site and step into the yellow marker to begin the task.

Detailed Instructions for Each Task

  1. Blown Cables:
    • Simply match the colored wires: Yellow to Yellow, Blue to Blue, Red to Red, etc.
    • This is a straightforward task with no chance of failure if done correctly.
  2. Resetting Circuit Breakers:
    • The circuit breakers will be numbered. You need to click them in ascending order. It's a simple task that requires basic number recognition.
  3. Network Cable Failure:
    • Align both cables in the center of the screen, ensuring they are perfectly bisected by the faint white line.
    • If you receive an error message, adjust the cables based on the instructions:
      • "Both cables not aligned" – Move both cables into alignment.
      • "Left cable not aligned" – Adjust the left cable.
      • "Right cable not aligned" – Adjust the right cable.
      • "Cables are overlapping" – Move the cables so they are no longer overlapping.
