Getting Started in CIT

1. Get Something to Travel On

Before you get started, you'll need a way to travel. You can buy vehicles from various Vehicle Shops located across the map, such as in LS Mall or other shops. To view and use your vehicles, press F2.

LS Mall

You can choose between cheap but decent vehicles or faster and more expensive ones depending on your budget.

2. Pick a Team

After getting your vehicle, it’s time to pick a side! There are four main sides in CIT:

Criminal

  • To become a Criminal, type /criminal. You will then have access to criminal activities and ways to make money. You can also press F3 to view available criminal jobs and money-making methods.

Police (Cop)

  • To become a Cop, type /lspd and enter the LSPD marker to take the job. You will help maintain order, arrest criminals, and participate in police activities.

Civilian

  • To become a Civilian, type /jobs or visit LS Mall or the specific job location on the map. Civilians can do various non-criminal activities, such as working in different jobs and earning money.

Gangster

  • To become a Gangster, type /gangster and make sure you're in a group. Gangsters can capture turfs, fight rival gangs, and make money from gang-related activities.

3. Joining Groups and Squads

Groups and squads are a core feature in CIT, allowing you to team up with other players and engage in group activities. You can join an existing group or start a new one with friends.

  • To join or create a group, press F6 to open the group control panel. From there, you can view available groups or create your own squad.
  • Squads and groups can also engage in turf wars, share a group bank, and participate in specific group missions.

4. Explore More with Groups and Squads

  • Squads and groups are essential for teamwork, as you can share objectives, turf territories, and engage in specialized group activities.
  • Each group and squad has its own private chat, allowing you to coordinate with your team.
  • You can also apply for a group job once your group is officially recognized.

Use F6 to manage your group or squad, view your members, and perform specific actions like sending group messages or changing your group's settings.

5. Explore the Map and Complete Missions

Once you’ve chosen your team, it’s time to explore the world and start making money. Each team has unique objectives and missions to complete. You’ll encounter various event locations, such as Criminal Events or Armed Robbery missions, where you can earn rewards and gain experience.

6. Keep Your Inventory and Vehicles in Check

  • You’ll find that keeping your vehicle in good condition is important for some missions, especially those that involve driving long distances or escaping from cops. You can repair your vehicles at mod shops or using repair kits.
  • Purchasing a house is also an option. You can keep vehicles at your house entrance by using F2 to select your vehicle and recover it.

7. Additional Tips

  • Money-making: Always explore ways to earn money based on your team’s objectives. Criminals can make money from robberies and turfing, while Civilians can take on jobs like Pizza Delivery or Trucking.
  • Events: Participate in CIT events to gain extra rewards and experience points.
  • Teams and Communication: Always coordinate with your squad using in-game team chat or private squad messages for better results in missions.
