Electrician

Electrician is a civilian job where you maintain and repair electrical and network systems around San Andreas.

Overview

Electrician is a task-based Civilian job.

You take the job in Los Santos or San Fierro, receive task tickets, travel to the marked location, and complete the task there.

Some wiring mistakes can seriously injure or kill you.

How To Start

To start working as an Electrician:

  1. Take the Electrician job in Los Santos or San Fierro.
  1. Press F5 or use /jt to receive a task.
  1. Read the ticket.
  1. Go to the marked location on your map.
  1. Complete the task.

A ticket shows the task type and location, and a marker appears on your map.

How It Works

Electrician works through task tickets.

When you get a task, the game gives you:

  • The task type
  • The task location
  • A marker on your map

You then travel to the location and complete the task there.

If a task is bugged, bad, or too far, you can reset it with /shift.

Commands

Useful Electrician commands include:

  • /jt
  • /gps
  • /shift
  • /prefertask
  • /qs electrician

What the commands do

  • /jt gets Electrician tasks
  • /gps helps with locations
  • /shift resets bugged or bad tasks
  • /prefertask lets high-level Electricians choose a preferred task type
  • /qs electrician shows quick stats

Preferred Task

At Level 6 and above, you can use:

  • /prefertask

This lets you choose a specific task type for all 30 tickets.

Task Panel

The Electrician panel can be used to manage tasks.

From the panel, you can:

  • View tasks
  • Cancel all tasks

The Electrician panel also supports multiple languages.

Tips

Useful Electrician tips:

  • Use /shift if a task is bugged or too far
  • Use a fast vehicle like a BF-400 to move between tasks faster

  • L4 Advanced Electrician, 500 Electrician Tasks
  • L5 Experienced Electrician, 1,000 Electrician Tasks
  • L6 Veteran Electrician, 1,500 Electrician Tasks
  • L7 Quality Controller, 2,000 Electrician Tasks
  • L8 Field Operator, 2,500 Electrician Tasks
  • L9 Field Supervisor, 3,000 Electrician Tasks
  • L10 Master Electrical Engineer, 3,500 Electrician Tasks

Vehicle Recovery

Electrician can recover this vehicle without VIP:

  • Utility Van

  • Electrician is available in Los Santos and San Fierro.
  • The job uses task tickets.
  • F5 and /jt are the main ways to get tasks.
  • Some wiring mistakes can seriously injure or kill you.
