Nickname

Your nickname is the name shown for you in game.

Overview

In CIT, you can change your nickname in 2 ways:

  • `/nick [new nickname]`
  • `ESC > Settings > Multiplayer > Nick`

How To Change Your Nickname

Using a command

To change your nickname with a command, use:

  • `/nick [new nickname]`

Using MTA settings

You can also change it through the game settings:

  1. Press `ESC`
  1. Open `Settings`
  1. Open `Multiplayer`
  1. Open `Nick`
  1. Enter your new nickname

Important Notes

  • `/nick [new nickname]` changes your nickname in game.
  • You can also change it from `ESC > Settings > Multiplayer > Nick`.
