Building

Building covers CITy Zones, object editing, temporary architect access, textures, and property building tools.


What building covers

Building covers apartments, CITy Zones, custom objects, Land Development requests, group bases, interiors, and mapped features.

For player owned building, start with CITy Zone and Apartment. For group bases or interiors, use Land Development.

Common building commands

Command Use Notes
/addent Opens the entity panel Used for apartments and CITy Zones.
/delent Deletes the selected entity CITy Zone building.
/copyent Copies an entity CITy Zone building.
/editdoor Edits a door and access CITy Zone building.
/edittex Changes CITy object texture Press X, right click the object, then use /edittex.
/citysave Saves what you built CITy Zone building.
/apartmententrance Changes apartment entrance or exit Apartment command.

Building controls

Use arrow keys to move objects. Hold Left Shift for fast movement, Left Alt for slow movement, and Shift + Alt for very slow movement. Use Numpad 9 and 6 for height, Numpad 1 and 2 for X rotation, Numpad 4 and 5 for Y rotation, mouse wheel for Z rotation, and Numpad Del to update and save the object.

  • /edittex CITy object texture lookup with right click object, choose texture, and click Select.
  • /cityzonetogglearchitect ID PlayerName giving temporary architect access and mapping objects as owned by the zone owner.
  • Apartment editing uses the apartment owner's bank balance and the owner can be offline while someone with access edits.


Group base peds

Use:

  • /addbaseped

to copy your skin, shader, animation, and weapon as a group base ped.
