What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Registry entries missing.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

1. Point MTA at your GTA folder

   Start MTA. When it asks for the GTA: San Andreas folder, choose the folder that holds gta_sa.exe.

2. Use a clean GTA: San Andreas

   MTA needs an unmodified GTA installation. If mods, an ASI loader or a replaced gta_sa.exe are in the game folder, reinstall GTA into a fresh folder and let MTA use that copy.
