What it means

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Missing/altered data integrity.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

1. Repair your MTA installation

   Run the current installer from multitheftauto.com over your existing installation. It replaces MTA's own files without touching your settings.

2. Use a clean GTA: San Andreas

   MTA needs an unmodified GTA installation. If mods, an ASI loader or a replaced gta_sa.exe are in the game folder, reinstall GTA into a fresh folder and let MTA use that copy.
