What it means

It points at the game's own files rather than at MTA: a modded or damaged gta3.img is the usual case.

CL codes come from MTA's launcher, before the game starts: installing an update, finding GTA, loading MTA's own files or starting gta_sa.exe. MTA's own documentation gives this code as Model loading failure.

How to fix it

Work down the list and stop when it is solved.

Longer version, with a source on every step: CL34: GTA could not load a model.

  1. Use a clean GTA: San Andreas

MTA needs an unmodified GTA installation. If mods, an ASI loader or a replaced gta_sa.exe are in the game folder, reinstall GTA into a fresh folder and let MTA use that copy.

  2. Check your log if it keeps happening

Paste the message, or MTA's core.log, into the Fix tool on this site. It runs on your own computer and points at the matching steps.

Still stuck? The Fix tool reads MTA's own log on your computer and points at the matching steps. Nothing is uploaded.
