CIT fix

CIT says “You can't enter this vehicle because it's broken down”

You cannot get into a broken down vehicle, not even the driver's seat. Repair it first, for example with a Repair Kit.

Steps

1. Why you cannot get in

   You cannot enter a broken down vehicle, not even the driver's seat. The Stafford, Hummer and Hydra are exceptions.

2. Repair it with a Repair Kit

   Only if you have a Repair Kit.

   Press X, click the vehicle and choose Use Repair Kit. You can use it on your own vehicle or on another player's vehicle.

3. Repair it yourself with DL1+

   Only if you have DL1+.

   Use X > Repair Vehicle to repair your own vehicle. It costs the same as a Pay n' Spray repair of that damage, but without the $500 minimum.

4. Repair it as a Mechanic

   Only if you work as a Mechanic.

   As a Mechanic, you can repair the vehicle.

5. Inside a Pay n' Spray, just get in

   Only if the broken vehicle is already inside the Pay n' Spray marker.

   Getting into the vehicle there repairs it.
