Where this comes from

  • The IDs, the game's model names and the parts: GTA San Andreas' own data/maps/veh_mods/veh_mods.ide.
  • Which vehicle may take each upgrade and its slot: what MTA:SA 1.6, build 24149 answers (getVehicleCompatibleUpgrades for every vehicle, getVehicleUpgradeSlotName and addVehicleUpgrade, on a private test server on 15 October 2026). MTA:SA's source code (CVehicleUpgrades.cpp, github.com/multitheftauto/mtasa-blue) gives the same answers, apart from two typos fixed there on 22 November 2025 (upgrades 1145 and 1164).
  • The names in GTA SA's mod garages and their prices: the game's data/shopping.dat and text/american.gxt. Which cars the garages offer each part on: the game's data/carmods.dat.
  • The names in CIT's Mod Shop: the name table in CIT's own Mod Shop script (CIT's client script, run unchanged on a private test server on 6 October 2026). CIT's prices: the CIT knowledge base.
  • Checked on 15 October 2026.
