Farmer

Farmer is a civilian job at Blueberry Acres in Flint County and CITy Island near San Fierro where you plant and harvest crops.

How the job works

Farmer is a resource job on the Civilian side.

You choose a crop, plant it with a Tractor, wait for it to grow, then harvest it with a Combine Harvester.

Resource crops can be sold through F7 or used for crafting in F9. Sunflowers pay cash directly.

How to start

To start the Farmer job:

Go to the barn.

Enter the yellow marker.

Press N to choose a crop.

Use a Tractor to plant it.

Herbs
Hemp
Wheat
Pumpkins
Sunflowers

Physical seed items are disabled.

Herbs, Hemp, and Wheat pay as resources. Pumpkins can be selected and planted but currently give no reward.

Sunflowers pay cash directly.

How it works

After choosing a crop:

Use a Tractor to plant it.

Wait about 4 minutes for it to grow.

Watch for the green blips that show ready crops.

Use a Combine Harvester to harvest them.

After harvesting, resource crops can be sold through F7 or used for crafting in F9. Sunflowers pay cash directly.

Current planting and harvest flow

Enter the barn vehicle marker for a Tractor, Combine Harvester, or Walton. While driving the Tractor, press N to select a crop and drive in the marked field to plant automatically. Physical Seeds are discontinued. Crops take about 4 minutes to grow and ready plants appear as green blips.

Use the Combine Harvester to turn grown crops into bales, then collect the bales on foot. Hemp, Herbs, and Wheat enter the inventory. Sunflowers pay cash. Pumpkins can be selected and planted but currently give no reward.

Local marker and HUD

Press N at the local Farmer job marker to return to the Employment Office. The HUD shows Planted and Grown counts. Ready crops also appear as green blips, and after a Combine Harvester creates a bale the HUD tells the player to get out and collect it.
