Racer
Racer is the civilian racing job in CIT.
Race notes
Racer is tied to the race system, not a normal job marker.
You join races through the race panel, go to the race start point, finish races, and build progress through races won.
CIT races include:
- Circuit races
- Sprint races
- Special event races
Races also reward money, Reputation, and winnings that can be taken as Engine Parts or Nitrous.
How to get the job
Racer does not have a normal job location.
To get the Racer job:
- Use
/raceto open the race panel.
- Join a race.
- Win the race.
Once you get in a race and win, you automatically get the Racer job.
How to join races
Use:
/race
From the race panel, you can:
- Sign up for the next race
- Auto join races until you cancel or reconnect
- Join a race already in progress by clicking sign up to race
- View the Top Racers list
- Search races
- Filter races
- Check race records
After signing up, go to the marked start point to join.
After the race ends, you are brought back to where you were before the race warp.
How Racing Works
Racing in CIT is based on public races through the race panel.
Race types include:
- Circuit races
- Sprint races
- Special event races
While you are in a race, the maximum FPS is:
70
The gap between races is 10 seconds.
The race countdown starts as soon as all players have loaded.
Race earnings use race payout rules and do not use higher team earn limits.
Rewards
Races reward:
- Money
- Reputation
- Winnings that can be taken as

Placement rewards are:
- 1st gets the full prize and
12part type winnings - 2nd gets
75%of the prize and9part type winnings - 3rd gets
50%of the prize and6part type winnings - 4th gets
25%of the prize and3part type winnings - 5th gets
25% - 6th and above get
$4000
Part type winnings can be taken as:
Engine PartsNitrous
Nitrous pays 25x the engine part prize.

The main racing panel is opened with:
/race
Top Racers
To see the Top Racers list:
- Open
/race
- Go to the second tab of the race panel
Search and Filters
To search or filter races:
- Open
/race
- Go to the
Racestab
- Use the search box
- Use filters such as:
Show only my favouritesShow only maps I can editShow only beta maps
Race Records
To see race records:
- Open
/race
- Go to the
Racestab
- Select a race
- Check the records table to see player names and finish times for that race
Settings
Racing has extra settings in /settings.
These include:
Racing Drive Type, which lets you pickAWD,FWD, orRWDRace Rating Requirement, which skips races you rated less than or equal to the number you set, from0to4Lock Vehicle Camera, which gives a static racing style camera
Skins
Racer uses:

Racer progression is based on:

Job ranks are:
- L0 Rookie Rider
- L1 Street Sprinter, Req: 250
- L2 Turbo Trainee, Req: 500
- L3 Asphalt Adventurer, Req: 750
- L4 Drift Devotee, Req: 1000
- L5 Speed Specialist, Req: 1300
- L6 Nitro Nomad, Req: 1600
- L7 Apex Chaser, Req: 1900
- L8 Circuit Commander, Req: 2200
- L9 Velocity Virtuoso, Req: 2500
- L10 Racing Legend, Req: 2800
At Level 10, you unlock:
/go Racer
Race details
- Racer does not use a normal job marker.
