Races

In CIT, you can participate in Racer job to test your driving skills and earn money and rewards. These races can take place at either the San Fierro (SF) or Los Santos (LS) stadiums, or you can use the /race command to join any upcoming race.

How to Participate in a Race

Sign Up:
- Using the /race command.
- Once you use the command, a race panel will pop up. From there:
  - You can sign up for the next race or opt to sign up for all races until you cancel or reconnect.
  - You can also view the Top Racers on the second tab of the race panel.
Race Notifications:
- Before the race starts, you will receive a chatbox notification that you will be warped into the race in 10 seconds. Make sure you’re not inside a building, vehicle, or wanted when the race starts.
Race Markers:
- Once the race begins, follow the big yellow markers on the ground.
- These markers are also shown on your minimap with a grey and white flag blip.

L7. Apex Chaser - Req: 3500

Race Rules and Prizes

Race Completion:
- When the first racer crosses the finish line, all other racers will have 30 seconds to finish the race and earn their prize.
- You are guaranteed to earn at least $4000 for completing the race.
- The first 5 players to cross the finish line will win more money. The exact prize depends on the number of participants.
Prize Calculation:
- The prize amount varies depending on the number of racers:
  - $9000 if there are fewer than 5 racers.
  - $7000 if there are 5 to 7 racers.
  - $5000 if there are 8 to 10 racers.
  - $3000 if there are more than 11 racers.
Prize Distribution:
- 1st Place: Full Prize + 12 Engine Parts
- 2nd Place: 75% Prize + 9 Engine Parts
- 3rd Place: 50% Prize + 6 Engine Parts
- 4th Place: 25% Prize + 3 Engine Parts
- 5th Place: 25% Prize
- 6th Place and Above: $4000

Race Limitations

FPS Limit:
- During races, your FPS will be limited to 45. This is done to ensure fairness since higher FPS can make you drive slightly faster than others with lower FPS.
