Engine Parts

Engine Parts is a resource used for vehicle upgrades, crafting, and trading in CIT.

Overview

Engine Parts work on cars and bikes only.

They are mainly used to improve:

  • Top speed
  • Acceleration
  • Crash resistance
  • Bullet resistance

They can also be used in F9 crafting and sold on F7.

How To Get Engine Parts

Engine Parts can be obtained from:

  • Crafting
  • Trucker
  • Train Driver
  • Business Factories
  • /race
  • F7

You can also get Engine Parts from some Armed Robbery spots:

  • CPD gives 44 Engine Parts
  • NCC gives 22 Engine Parts and 9 Jerry Cans

Mechanics can also get Iron or Engine Parts from the scrapper mission.

What To Do With Engine Parts

Engine Parts can be:

  • Used to upgrade cars and bikes
  • Used in F9 crafting
  • Sold on F7

If you remove or sell a vehicle boost, you get 90% of the parts back.

Vehicle Upgrades

Engine Parts improve vehicle performance.

Fully upgraded vehicles can reach about 140% of stock speed.

To reach full speed boost, you need:

  • 5,079 Engine Parts

Acceleration

Some rough acceleration milestones are:

  • About 5 parts for 103%
  • About 8 parts for 106%
  • About 21 parts for 118%

Exact totals can vary by vehicle.

Crash Resistance

Crash resistance uses Engine Parts at these levels:

  • L1: 5
  • L2: 8
  • L3: 12
  • L4: 17
  • L5: 25
  • L6: 38
  • L7: 57
  • L8: 85
  • L9: 128
  • L10: 192

The total cost to reach 150% crash resistance is:

  • 567 Engine Parts

Crafting

Engine Parts are used in F9 crafting for:

  • Repair Kit

Trading

Engine Parts can be sold through F7.

Many resources and crafted materials can be traded there.
