Iron is a resource used for trading and crafting in CIT.
Overview
Iron is one of the main crafting materials in the server.
It can be collected from jobs, some robberies, turf payouts, or bought from other players.
You can sell it on F7 or use it in F9 crafting.
How To Get Iron
You can get Iron from:
- Iron Miner
- Cave Miner
- Train Driver missions
- F7
There are also other iron sources:
- The `IS` Armed Robbery gives 863 Iron
- Greenglass College in LV pays iron instead of cash
How To Check Your Iron
Use:
- /currentiron
This shows how much iron you have collected.
What To Do With Iron
Iron can be:
- Sold on F7
- Used in F9 crafting
You can also craft items for other players, then trade them through F7.
What Iron Is Used For
Iron is used in F9 crafting for:
- Armor
- Jerry Can
- Katana
- Knife
- Bat
- Shovel
- Golfclub
- Spraycan
- O2 Tank
- Rustic Rocket
- Grenade
- Satchel
- Teargas
- Molotov
- Most ammo
Example Crafting Use
One example is:
- Jerry Can uses 50 Oil and 25 Iron
Trading
Iron can be traded through F7.
Many job items and crafting materials can be sold there.
If you list tradable resources at the minimum price, AI Trader buys them automatically after about 10 seconds.
