State Official Events

SO Events are civilian only events hosted by State Officials in CIT.

They are meant for:

• civilian entertainment
• quick competitions
• delivery races
• trivia
• reward events

How players join SO events

SO Events are civilian only events hosted by State Officials.

Watch main chat and civilian chat for announcements. Use /soevent info to check the event type, destination, required vehicle, and restrictions. Use /participate when the event announcement tells you to.

Normal players cannot open the State Official event panel or control panels.

Useful commands

Command	Use
/soevent info	Shows event type, destination, required vehicle, restrictions, and reward set.
/participate	Used for SO Chase and can warp to the job marker in Job Competition if the host enabled it.
/soevent score	Shows score when live score visibility is enabled.
/soevent limit	Shows State Official event earn limit details in J chat.
/acq	Answers a quiz made by a State Official.

Event types

State Official event types include Delivery Clothes, Delivery Glasses, Delivery Jewellery, Delivery Fish, Delivery Plane, Delivery Newspaper, Mystery Box, Job Competition, Quiz, and SO Chase.

Quiz rewards are money only and cap at $25,000.

Rewards

State Official event rewards can use Currency, Gold, Engine Parts, Nitrous, Iron, Wheat, Chemicals, Herbs, Electronics, Hemp, Oil, Meat, and Fish.

Important rules

• /settings has State Official Events options for automatically participating in certain SO events.
• State Officials can enable or disable all event vehicles at once.
• Job Competition can use live score visibility and equal job progress points.
• Street Cleaner mowing grass is in State Official events.
• Wait after a previous SO event win is 5 minutes.

Event use

The SO event types are:

• Delivery Clothes
• Delivery Glasses
• Delivery Jewellery
• Delivery Fish
• Delivery Plane
• Delivery Newspaper
• Mystery Box
• Job Competition
• Quiz
• SO Chase

Players do not use the SO event panel itself. From the player side, you mainly:

• watch the announcement in chat
• use /soevent info to check the event
• use /participate if the event needs manual joining

Joining SO events

To follow an SO event:

1. watch main chat and civilian chat for the event announcement
2. use /soevent info
3. check the event type, destination, required vehicle, and restrictions
4. use the correct vehicle or job if needed
5. use /participate when the event requires it

Reward details

The SO event reward types are:

• Currency
• Gold
• Engine Parts
• Nitrous
• Iron
• Wheat
• Chemicals
• Herbs
• Electronics
• Hemp
• Oil
• Meat
• Fish

Special note:

• Quiz events are money only events

Delivery Events

All SO delivery events are based on going from a pickup point to a delivery point before time runs out.

Some events can still have vehicles disabled by the host, so always check:

• /soevent info

Mystery Box

In Mystery Box:

• a State Official hides a box
• civilians try to find it first

If the host enabled the small radar area:

• players see a yellow search zone on the map

If that option is not enabled:

• there is no yellow search zone

Job Competition

In Job Competition:

• players compete by doing the selected civilian job during the event time

The host can enable options such as:

• warping participants to the job marker
• score visibility
• equal job progress points for fairness between different levels

If the host enabled the warp option:

• using /participate can send players to the job marker

Quiz

In Quiz:

• the State Official asks a trivia question in civilian chat
• players try to answer before the time or attempt limit runs out

Quiz note:

• quiz rewards are money only
• the reward cap is $25,000

SO Chase

In SO Chase:

• civilians chase the State Official's vehicle
• the goal is to hit the SO vehicle first

Player side notes:

• use /participate to join
• the host can disable certain vehicle types
• check /soevent info if some vehicles are not allowed

Event rules and limits

• SO Events are civilian only events
• players do not use the SO panel or SO event panel directly
• always check /soevent info before starting
• the SO Events source has a command naming conflict between /soevent score and /soevent scores, so that exact command still needs confirmation

Extra event details

• /soevent info shows the reward set for the current State Official event.
• State Officials can enable or disable all event vehicles at once.
• State Officials can control job competition score visibility and players can use /soevent score when visible.
• /settings has State Official Events for automatically participating in certain State Official events.
• /soevent limit shows State Official event earn limit details and that State Official event output appears in J chat.
• State Official event types include Delivery Clothes, Delivery Glasses, Delivery Jewellery, Delivery Fish, Delivery Plane, Delivery Newspaper, Mystery Box, Job Competition, Quiz, and SO Chase; Quiz rewards are money only and cap at $25,000.

State Official host panel details

The State Official event panel has Pickup and Delivery tabs with:

• Position
• Location
• Blip ID
• Get Position

Get Position uses the host's current position, or /uav or /freecam coordinates if the host is using those.

The vehicle controls include:

• Enabled
• Disabled
• Toggle Status
• Toggle All
• Reset

The Job Competition score grid has:

• Participant
• Score

State Officials can double click the grid list to update it.

The event options can set reward type, reward amount, whether to pay with host money, event time, log filtering, and whether event details are cleared after the event starts.

Quiz events:

• players can answer with /acq
• the Quiz host panel has Quiz, Answer, Attempts, Ask, and Cancel

Street Cleaner mowing

• Street Cleaner mowing grass is in State Official events.
