Mechanic is a civilian service job where you repair, paint, and scrap vehicles for money or resources.
Overview
Mechanic is a service job on the Civilian side.
As a Mechanic, you help players by repairing and painting vehicles.
You can also do the scrapper mission, which can pay in Iron or Engine Parts.
Locations
Mechanic can be found near:
- Pay and Spray in North East LS
- Pay and Spray in North Central LV
- Pay and Spray in East SF
- Commercial Facilities on City Island SF
How It Works
Mechanic has 3 main parts:
- Repairing vehicles
- Painting vehicles
- Scrapper mission
Repairing Vehicles
To repair a vehicle:
- Stand next to the vehicle.
- Press X.
- Click the vehicle.
- Select Repair Vehicle.
The vehicle owner then accepts or declines the service.
Painting Vehicles
To paint a vehicle:
- Buy or craft a spray can.
- Aim at the vehicle.
- Hold Right Mouse Button to spray.
Painting someone else's vehicle pays:
- $1,500
Painting your own vehicle is:
- Free
