Roadtrip Following

Roadtrip Following is a vehicle-following feature in CIT. It lets one player follow another player in a separate vehicle so both vehicles can stay together more easily.

Overview

Roadtrip Following is used when:

  • both players are driving their own vehicles
  • both players want to stay together on the road

The feature works by selecting another nearby player to follow.

Requirements

Before starting Roadtrip Following:

  • both players must be in their own vehicles
  • both players should stay close to each other
  • both players should form up first

How to start

To start Roadtrip Following:

  • make sure both players are in their own vehicles
  • stay close to the player you want to follow
  • use /roadtrip
  • click the player you want to follow

If that player has not blocked you:

  • you will start following them

Blocking Roadtrip Following

To block or unblock a player from using Roadtrip Following on you, use:

/rtblock [playerName]

If a player has blocked you:

  • you cannot follow them with the Roadtrip feature

Pausing Roadtrip Following

To pause Roadtrip Following, press:

  • left Alt
  • or left Ctrl
