Apartments

Overview

Apartments are personal spaces you can rent in CIT. They let you place objects and decorations, store items, and invite other players to visit. Apartments are mainly used for roleplay and for showing your own style.

Renting an apartment

1. Find an apartment icon on the map.
2. Walk into the apartment icon.
3. Press Z to interact.
4. Follow the on screen steps to pick an apartment and confirm the rent.

Visiting apartments

Visiting your own apartment

Open the apartment menu and click "Enter My Apartment".

Visiting another player

In the apartments list, find the player name and double click it to enter.

Building and decorating

Apartment building and decorating uses the CITy system.

To read the building help:

1. Press F1 to open the help menu.
2. Open the CITy info section.
3. Follow the instructions for placing furniture, decorations, and other items.

Entry, exit, and spawn point

Changing where you enter

Use /apartmententrance to set your preferred entrance point.

How it is used:

1. Stand at the location you want to use.
2. Type /apartmententrance.

This affects where you enter the apartment, including after you respawn.

Leaving an apartment

• If you are in an apartment event, you can use /leaveevent.
• If you are just inside an apartment, you can walk to the door and interact with it to leave.

Apartment access control

By default, only the owner can enter.

To change who can enter, use the apartment settings:

• To allow anyone, leave the left box empty in settings.
• To allow specific people only, use one of these formats:
  • account:Name
  • squad:Name
  • group:Name

Commands in apartments

Some commands are listed as useful while inside an apartment.

/apartmentkick <name>	Kicks a player from your apartment	You must be the owner
/wipeapartment <your account name>	Removes all items and furniture from an apartment	Can also wipe for accounts, squads, or groups by name
/jetpack	Gives a free jetpack	Works inside your apartment
/createveh <vehicle>	Spawns a vehicle	F2 does not work here
/lawrepair	Repairs your vehicle
/flip	Flips your vehicle
/setvehcolor R G B	Changes vehicle color
/aircar	Flying cars	Works inside any apartment without a vote or event
/leaveevent	Leaves the current event	Used for apartment events and other events

Notes about /aircar

• Inside apartments, /aircar works at any time.
• Outside apartments, /aircar only works when a flying cars event is started by staff or CEMs and enough players vote for it.

Teleporting to your apartment

1. Press B.
2. Find My properties app.
3. Double click it.
4. It will be marked on your map witha Disk icon.
