Groups

Groups are player made organizations in CIT. They give members shared chat, management tools, rewards, group perks, alliances, bases, group jobs, and teamwork features.

The first hour pays $50,000, then scales down until it reaches $0 at 20 hours.

Start

Goal What to use
Open group, squad, and unit panel F6 or /groupsquadunit
Create a group F6 > Group > Create Group, costing $10,000. The creator gets Founder. A group cannot be renamed: a new name means deleting the group and starting fresh, losing its members, skins, and levels.
Invite a player F6 > Group > Invite to Group; your rank needs invite permission.
Accept an invite F6 > Group Invites > Accept
Buy group slots F6 > Group Members
Reward members /groupreward or F6 > Group Reward

A new group starts with 10 member slots. Each extra group slot costs $50,000, and the cap is 90 slots.

Groups need at least 2 members to avoid deletion.

Helping new players

Groups can earn money when recruited new players increase playtime up to 20 hours. The money is deposited to the group bank account.

This only works if the player has not registered another account already.

The first hour pays $50,000, then the payout scales down until it reaches $0 once the new player has been playing for 20 hours.

To know if the reward is available, enable Notify me of New Players. If the message says accounts on this PC: 1, the reward is available for that player.

Colors and map display

Members with permission can use:

  • /turfcolor <R G B>
  • /groupchatcolor <R G B>

RGB values go from 0 to 255. In LV, turf color changes are limited to 2 times per month. A new turf color does not repaint turfs your group already holds. Use /turfcolorls R G B for LS turf color.

Group and alliance member names on F11 can be shown or hidden in /settings.

F6 Group panel

The F6 Group tab can show Group Level, Job Name, Turf Color, vehicle shaders, skin shaders, online players, total players, and graffiti. Available controls depend on the group and your permissions. They can include Group List, Group Invites, Group Blacklist, Group Whitelist, Group Info, Group Ranks, Group History, Group Members, Group Bank, Group Applications, Group Job, Custom Skin, Group Alliance, and Leave Group.

Group job access

Use /gojob or the Group Job button in F6. Group ranks can have separate permission to take or assign the group job. Assignment is available to Level 6+ groups, and Level 6+ police groups can select GIU.

Organization Center

Open F6 or use /groupsquadunit to manage organization features. The Group tab provides group information and member controls, while Overview links to Group Overview, Members, Bank, and Alliance.

Group capacity is capped at 90 members. In F6, open Group Members, enter the amount, and use Buy Group Slots for $50,000 per slot.

Use /mgd to set an F11 destination visible to group members. Multiple destinations are supported, and /mgd remove <number> removes one when permitted.

Discord link requirement

A Level 0 group cannot link its group chat to Discord.

Revoking an invite

A group or squad invite can be revoked after it is sent.

Current group access and activity rules

  • You cannot apply to another group with /gapps while you are already in a group.
  • In the /gojob window, choose Current to keep your current skin and shader. Clicking a skin ID previews it before you take the job.
  • A Level 0 group cannot withdraw from its group bank or use /groupreward.
  • The F6 member list shows when each member's rank last changed.
  • Groups and squads with a player or vehicle shader are not deleted by the inactivity checker. Other groups need at least 2 members to avoid deletion.
  • Squad blips are disabled while you are in LV.
  • Use /turfcolorls R G B to change the color of the group's LS turfs.

Request cost and continued access

L6+ groups without a group job can request one for free. Members need the appropriate rank permission for /gojob or F6 > Group Job; permitted leaders can assign the group job to other players. The occupation name appears in TAB and stats. Demotion below L6 removes the job, and it must be requested again after reaching L6.

Reading group statistics

Tab What it shows
Main stats Group level, member count, city, team, Last P/D, average playtime, activity comparisons, last punishment, punishment warning level, promotion status, and lifetime city and team playtime. Last P/D means last promotion or demotion.
Group Pun. Group punishment history.
Group Members PT Avg mins per day, Avg mins not idle, and Days counted for individual members.
Groups AVG PT Anonymous comparisons under Average Activity in 30 days: average minutes, T-AVG, Days Counted, Total mins, and percentages.
Lifetime Members Scores Member totals, including Law Scores, Civ Scores, and Crim Scores.

Open these tabs with /groupstats.

Main stats splits lifetime city playtime into LS, SF, and LV, and lifetime team playtime into Criminals, Civilian Workers, Police Service, and Gangsters. Every group shows the same three cities and the same four teams.

Main stats shows the monthly group invitation cap. Promotion Status says whether the group is eligible or whether members were punished less than 7 days ago. A punishment during that period blocks promotion.

Moving group destination

  • To make yourself the MGD, use /mgd <your nickname>. The group destination blip attaches to you and follows you as you move; you do not need to choose a fixed point on F11.
  • To mark another group member, use /mgd name, replacing name with their nickname.
  • The person running the command needs the Manage group destination blip permission. If you lack it, ask a group member with that permission to run /mgd <your nickname>.
  • For a fixed location instead, use /mgd, then choose the destination on the F11 map. Groups can create multiple destination blips. F6 > Communication > Group also has Set Point and Clear Point.

Group chat visibility

Open /settings > General > GROUP / ALLIANCE and select Enable Group Chat. Yes shows Group Chat and No hides Group Chat from your chatbox. Select No + No Group Staff Chat to hide both Group Chat and Group Staff Chat. The default is Yes.

Open /settings > General. Under GROUP / ALLIANCE, set See Alliance Staff Chat to No to hide group alliance staff chat from your chatbox. Under SQUAD, set See Squad Alliance Staff Chat to No to hide squad alliance staff chat. Both settings default to Yes.

Loading the full history

Organization history initially loads only the last month. Click Request Full History to load the whole log. /grouphistory and /squadhistory include an action filter, inclusive From and To dates in YYYY-MM-DD, text search, and a shown-actions counter. Only the group log has Copy All Lines; use /copysquadlog for squad history.
