Alliance

Alliance is a group system that lets different groups work together in CIT.

Overview

Alliances are used for coordination between groups.

They give groups shared tools for:

  • Working together
  • Managing invited groups
  • Setting leadership
  • Sharing destination blips
  • Using alliance chat
  • Using alliance staff chat

How It Works

Alliance is managed through:

  • /alliance

The Alliance panel includes:

  • Create Alliance
  • Leave Alliance
  • Invite Group
  • Delete Alliance
  • Remove Group
  • Set Leadership

How To Create an Alliance

To create an alliance:

  1. Use /alliance
  1. Click Create Alliance

Only group founders or leaders can create an alliance.

The group that creates it starts as the leadership group.

How To Join an Alliance

If your group gets invited to an alliance, use:

  • /acceptalliance

Leadership

Alliance leadership starts with the group that created the alliance.

The Alliance panel also includes:

  • Set Leadership

Alliance Communication

Alliance members can talk together using alliance chat.

Alliance Chat

Use:

  • /ac <message>

Both commands talk to everyone in the alliance.

Alliance Staff Chat

Use:

  • /asc <message>

This is the alliance staff chat.

Alliance Tools

Alliances have extra coordination tools.

Alliance Message of the Day

Use:

  • /amotd <message>

This sets the Alliance Message of the Day.

Alliance Countdown

Use:

  • /allycountd <seconds> <reason>

This sets a countdown for an alliance action.

Alliance Destination Blips

Use:

  • /mad

This lets an alliance place multiple destination blips.

To remove one blip, use:

  • /mad remove ID

To clear all alliance blips, use:

  • /mad remove

Blips and Map

Alliance members can be seen on the radar.

Allies show as:

  • An A blip

If you want classic green blips, go to /settings and set:

  • Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips to Yes

You can also control F11 map name display in /settings.

The setting is:

  • Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11

Settings

Alliance-related settings include:

  • Enable Group/Alliance Member Names in F11
  • Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips
  • Alliance Login Messages
  • Invite Messages

Alliance also appears in the Healing / Armor Sale Restrictions setting, including options such as:

  • No Law + Group + Alliance
  • No Criminal + Group + Alliance
  • Group + Alliance only

Uses

Alliance is mainly used for:

  • Group coordination
  • Shared chat between allied groups
  • Staff chat between allied group staff
  • Shared countdowns
  • Shared destination blips
  • Better map and radar awareness

Important Notes

  • Alliance is a group system, not a squad system.
  • /alliance is the main command for alliance management.
  • Founders or leaders can create an alliance.
  • The group that creates the alliance starts as the leadership group.
  • /acceptalliance is used after your group gets invited.
  • /ac are alliance chat commands.
  • /asc is alliance staff chat.
  • /amotd sets the alliance message of the day.
  • /allycountd starts an alliance countdown.
  • /mad places alliance destination blips.
  • Allies show as an A blip on the radar.
