Cop-kill Reputation Points

Criminals can kill cops without a reason. First aim at the cop until you become wanted; then you can kill them.

Killing an eligible cop gives 100 RP. The reward rises with your wanted level: 200 RP at 4 stars, 300 RP at 5 stars, 400 RP at 6 stars, and 500 RP while APB.

The kill does not count if the cop has not moved for 20 seconds, if the kill happens in LV or an excluded event, or if an Armed Robbery participant makes the kill outside the AR area. A kill assister can also receive RP.

Gangster team switching

A Gangster becomes Criminal when becoming APB. The Automatically Become Criminal In Criminal Events setting controls automatic Gangster-to-Criminal switching when joining a Criminal Event.

Current wanted and side rules

  • Shooting another player gives Felony Attempted Murder.
  • The normal wanted decay is 5 Wanted Points per minute and is twice as fast when no cops are nearby. Decay pauses during a Criminal Event or Armed Robbery.
  • Use /fine only below 30 Wanted Points.
  • /surrender works whenever you are wanted, including while a cop is nearby and while you are already arrested and being transported. It does not work if you were hurt in the last 10 seconds or if you are an APB, and using it costs you some ranking points. It sends you straight to prison instead of waiting to be arrested, and your wanted level is cleared when you are released.
  • 6 wanted stars begin at 801 Wanted Points.
  • A wanted Criminal can switch to Gangster. After switching to Gangster, the player cannot shoot for 8 seconds unless inside LV.

Three vehicle theft activities

Activity How it works
Static Vehicle Robbery Criminals and Gangsters use /rob near a robbable static vehicle in LS. Player owned F2 vehicles cannot be robbed.
Hijack Gangsters in LS enter the vehicle at the purple car blip and deliver it. Entering it makes you wanted.
Vehicle Robbery mission When available, press K anywhere, chase the DFT-30, kill its driver, and deliver the vehicle.

Robbing Uncle Sam

Robbing Uncle Sam is a criminal or gangster mission in LS:

  • Enter your own Burrito and press N to start the docks mission.
  • Follow the truck blip and GPS route to the warehouse in Ocean Docks.
  • Shoot the gate keypad to destroy it and gain access. Armed guards defend the warehouse.
  • Enter the forklift marker, use the forklift to load 6 boxes into the rear of your Burrito, then follow the delivery marker.
  • Deliver before the displayed Time Remaining runs out. Being killed fails the mission.

Enter the forklift marker at the warehouse to get a forklift. Use num_2 and num_8 to control its forks, lift a box, and take it to the rear of your Burrito. The loading counter tracks progress toward 6 boxes. If a box is stuck, press X and click the box to rotate it. Once all boxes are loaded, follow the delivery marker.

Completing RUS gives $40,000 ($48,000 with VIP), 2,000 RP, and 20 each of LSD, God, Crack, Weed, Speed, and Steroids. The mission gives 120 Wanted Points in the warehouse and 60 more when you deliver the van, 180 in all.

Mission wanted points

Robbing Uncle Sam gives 120 Wanted Points in the warehouse and 60 more when you deliver the van, 180 in all. Entering Jefferson Motel as a criminal gives 40 Wanted Points. Being next to the Van Heist van gives 10 Wanted Points.
