Wanted Points
Wanted Points
Wanted Points track criminal activity in CIT.
The more Wanted Points you have, the more police attention you get.
Overview
Wanted Points are part of the criminal wanted system.
When you commit crimes, your wanted level goes up. This shows as stars and makes you a target for the law side.
Use /wl to check your wanted stars and the top 3 most wanted players.
The stars above a player's head also show that player's wanted level.
How It Works
Players become wanted by doing crimes like aiming at police or committing criminal acts.
More Wanted Points means more police attention.
If you are arrested, your jail time depends on your wanted level.

How To Reduce Wanted Points
You can reduce or clear wanted in these ways:
- Use /fine if you only have 1 star
- Stay alive and wait for your stars to drop over time
- Get arrested
- Use /surrender to go to jail and reset your wanted level when you are released
If you want to use /payjailfine, you need cash in hand. Bank money does not work.
Wanted and Arrests
Wanted players can be sent to jail by police.
Police can do this by killing the wanted player or by tazing them and arresting them with the nightstick.
Most players kill.
Police cannot arrest players inside vehicles with the nightstick.
Wanted in Protected Areas
Wanted players cannot be damaged in Protected Areas, but they can only jog there.
Police can still taze and arrest wanted players in Protected Areas.
Wanted and APB
Wanted Points are also connected to APB.
APB starts at 1000 Wanted Points.
Up to 3 APBs can exist at the same time.
The APB thresholds are:
- 1000 WP
- 1100 WP
- 1200 WP
Use /apb to see the current APB target and location.
Both cops and criminals can see APB alerts.
An APB ends if the player is arrested, dies, or quits while a cop is nearby.
If a player has an active APB, they also have:
- !!! APB !!!
shown above their head.
Special Notes
