From CIT Wiki

APB – All Points Bulletin

The APB system is a high-priority alert used to notify all law players and criminals about a dangerous suspect with a high wanted level. It ensures that both sides are aware and can act accordingly—either to arrest or avoid the target.

What Is an APB?

  • APB stands for All Points Bulletin.
  • It's an automatic or manual alert placed on suspects who reach a high number of Wanted Points (WP).
  • These players are marked as top priority for arrest.

When Is an APB Triggered?

  • Auto-APBs are triggered automatically when a suspect reaches 1,000+ WP.
  • Limit: A maximum of 3 APBs can exist at the same time.
  • Each new APB increases the required WP:
    • 1st APB: 1,000 WP
    • 2nd APB: 1,100 WP
    • 3rd APB: 1,200 WP

How to Identify an APB

  • A yellow star blip will appear on the map.
  • An on-screen message will say: "<Player> posted an APB on <Player> – assist in arresting them!"
  • Use /apb in chat to view:
    • Name of the current APB
    • Their location
  • Open the CITPhone (B) > "Event Times" app to also see APB info.

Who Can See APBs?

  • Both Cops and Criminals are notified of an active APB.
  • The message appears on screen and in logs for increased visibility.

APB Rules

  • Gangsters cannot damage APBs, and APBs cannot damage gangsters.
  • Only law players (cops) can arrest an APB.

Tips for Cops

  • Use the Police Computer (F5) to pin APBs for fast navigation.
  • Team up for faster takedowns

Tips for Criminals

  • If you are the APB:
    • Stay moving and avoid open areas.
    • Use drugs (LSD, Speed, God) to escape longer.
