Criminal

The Criminal side in CIT is built around robberies, wanted gameplay, criminal missions, and fights against the law side.

Overview

Criminal players earn money, drugs, materials, and Reputation Points by doing robberies, missions, and public criminal activities.

The side includes things like:

Criminals also have their own base, their own progression, and their own leadership role through the Criminal Boss duty.

How It Works

The Criminal side revolves around two main systems:

Reputation Points level up your criminal rank.

Wanted Points increase police attention and make it harder to move around safely.

Use /criminal to switch to the Criminal side.

Use /rank to check your criminal progress.

Use /wl to check your wanted level.

Getting Started

A simple way to start on the Criminal side is:

  1. Use /criminal.
  1. Check /ce for the current Criminal Event.
  1. Check /arl for the current Armed Robbery.
  1. Keep an eye on /wl.
  1. Learn the smaller robberies first before jumping into bigger fights.
  1. Bank your cash often.

Joining a group also helps if you want more organized criminal gameplay.

Wanted Level and APB

Wanted Points track your criminal activity. More Wanted Points means more police attention.

Common actions that give Wanted Points include:

You can reduce or clear wanted in a few ways:

  • Use /fine if you only have 1 star
  • Stay alive and wait for stars to drop over time
  • Get arrested
  • Use /surrender and wait until you are released

If you want to pay your jail fine with /payjailfine, the money must be in your hand. Bank money does not count.

APB

APB means All Points Bulletin.

It is a server wide alert for very wanted criminals. It starts at 1000 Wanted Points. Up to 3 APBs can exist at the same time.

Use /apb to see the current APB target and location.

Both cops and criminals can see APB alerts.

An APB ends if the player is arrested, dies, or quits while a cop is nearby. The Top 100 Criminals list includes APB statistics.

Criminal Progression

Criminals level up from Level 1 to Level 60 by earning RP from criminal activity.

Some important criminal milestones are:

  • Level 1: 384 RP
  • Level 5: 2,884 RP
  • Level 10: 28,846 RP

Criminal Events

Criminal Events, usually called CEs, are public events where criminals and police fight over an objective such as a robbery, raid, or special scenario.

Unlimited players can join, and the events rotate through different locations.

Use /ce to check the current Criminal Event. It shows the current CE, how many seconds are left before it starts, and how many criminals and cops are inside.

Use /leaveevent if you want to leave your current event.

Criminals in a CE commit robberies and fight police.

If criminals win a Criminal Event, they can get cash, RP, and sometimes drugs.

Killing a cop in a CE also gives RP, and escaping gives cash.

A CE will not start if an AR is about to start within 4 minutes.

Van Heist

Van Heist is part of the CE cycle and happens every 4th CE.

In Van Heist, criminals hijack a van and try to deliver it while cops try to stop them.

Use /vanheist to check the timer.

If Van Heist is already running, press N after using /vanheist to mark the location on your map.

To do the Van Heist:

  1. Wait for it to start.

  1. Drive it to the marked destination.

Important Van Heist rules include:

  • Jetpacks are disabled within 200m of the van
  • Any criminal within 20m of a cop driven van gets wanted
  • The van stops if surrounded by enemies
  • The in-event radius is 40m
  • Stingers do not affect the van heist vehicle
  • The van heist blip is visible to medics

If nobody has been in the van for 150 seconds, the Van Heist ends and the cops count as winning.

Van Heist rewards scale with online players. The winning team also gets 20% more XP for 30 minutes.

Armed Robbery

Armed Robberies, usually called ARs, are public robberies at fixed spots.
