Criminal Boss

Criminal Boss, usually shortened to CB, is a criminal duty that helps lead the criminal side.

What Criminal Bosses do

CB means Criminal Boss. Criminal Bosses guide criminals, organize Cop Hunts and riots, place bounties, and use criminal side tools.

Criminal Bosses can place barriers without cost. The /barriers panel lists Criminals Shield.

Bounties and Mystery Boxes

Criminal Bosses can place 2 bounties every hour. A bounty can last up to 60 minutes and can be up to $300,000. Bounties can also reward drugs, such as 10, 20, or 25 of each drug. Over the hourly earn limit, bounty cash is reduced to 10%.

Mystery Boxes can contain money, drugs, and ammo. A Criminal Boss can add a hint. Picking up a Criminal Boss Mystery Box gives 25 Wanted Points.

Riot tools

Criminal Bosses can customize riot area size, kick and ban civilians from the riot area, and host riots when danger is 2.4 or lower. They can allow criminals to warp to a riot when the get wanted checkbox is disabled.

Criminal Bosses can car jack their own team in Van Heist.

Role

Criminal Bosses guide criminals, help new players on the side, and organize criminal activities.

They are mainly responsible for leading the criminal side during activities like Cop Hunts and riots.

Players can check which Criminal Bosses are online.

Cop Hunt

A Cop Hunt is a criminal activity organized by Criminal Bosses where criminals target law players.

Riots

Riots are Criminal Boss led fights against police in Los Santos.

Use /riot to see whether a riot is running and when the last one was held.

Communication

The [Boss] tag next to a Criminal Boss's name looks like (TEAM) M1D0 [Boss]: <text> in team chat, (LOC) [n] [Boss] M1D0: <text> in local chat inside a Criminal Event, and (VOICE) M1D0 [Boss]: Hold this position! in voice messages.

/cb is the private duty chat that Criminal Bosses use to talk to other Criminal Bosses. It is not a player contact command.

Related notes

Criminal Bosses can remove all placed blips at once.

Current Criminal Boss controls

/crimcountd <countdown> <reason> shows a countdown to criminals and gangsters. Players can hide it with Toggle Team Countdown in /settings.
/crimblip <message> places a criminal blip with a message.
Gangsters outside LV can see Criminal Boss calls and notes sent with /cbnote.
Criminal Boss barrier IDs run from 1 through 13. Criminal Bosses can also recover vehicles that block the road.
Jumping cancels a Criminal Boss Mystery Box pickup. Completing the pickup gives 25 Wanted Points.
Criminal Boss barriers remain after the owner dies and are destroyed when the owner quits.

Barrier IDs

Criminal Bosses can use /barrier <ID> with IDs 1 to 13. Use /barriers to view the list. Criminal Bosses can also craft barrier 20 and use the Criminals Shield. At least 500 hours of play time is required to place barriers. They can also recover vehicles blocking the road.
