Heist missions are roleplay missions. The playable missions are preparation missions; the final heist is not currently available.

A heist team has exactly 2 players. Make the team with /team or Generate Team. You do not need to stay in the same team every time, but players in the team must have completed the required preparation missions if you want to play together.

Basic flow

  1. Get a heist property.
  2. Complete the required preparation missions.
  3. Create a team of exactly 2 players with /team or Generate Team.
  4. Start an available preparation mission after completing the required mission IDs.

Preparation examples

Mission Objective Raw pay Reputation VIP money
Mission 1 Pick up a truck from the warehouse, use it to carry cabinets, furniture, and planning equipment, then drive back to the property. $35,000 1,750 $42,000
Mission 2 Go to the bank, scope points, and use the camera if needed. $37,500 2,000 $45,000

A heist team has exactly 2 players. Both players must have completed every preparation mission required by the selected mission. A solo heist cannot start.

The /team panel has My Team (members, Kick, Leave, Auto-fill), Invite Players (Search:, Players, Team name:, Invite), and Received Invites (Team Name, Leader, Accept, Deny). Team names must have 5 to 15 characters. Enter a name and invite a player to create the team; use /tc <message> to chat.

Current mission availability

The current playable heist content contains the two preparation missions. Montgomery Warehouse does not have a separate additional mission.

Introduction calls and music display

Open /settings and go to General > HEISTS. Heist Introduction Phone Call defaults to Enabled; select Disabled to stop receiving these calls.

When enabled, you eventually receive an introduction call while on the Criminals or Gangsters team, in the main world and outside Las Venturas. It guides you to a property store to view heist properties. After you buy at least one heist property, the introduction calls stop.

Open /settings:

  • Audio > SOUNDS / MUSIC / AUDIO > Heist Map Radio controls background radio or audio streams in some heist maps.
  • Interface > HEISTS MUSIC BAR contains Heist Streaming Color, Heist Streaming Movement, and Heist Streaming Background Transparency for the display shown with M, where available.

Team ownership and preparation

Make a team with /team or Generate Team. Only the team leader needs to own a heist property. At that property, enter the marker and press Z, select a mission, invite one other player through /team, and use Start Heist. Both players must have completed the required preparation missions.
