Vehicle Paint

Vehicle Paint is the vehicle color system in CIT. It covers normal vehicle color changes, RGB paint value checks, and color-related vehicle settings.

Overview

Vehicle Paint is mainly used for:

  • changing your vehicle color
  • checking your vehicle's paint values
  • matching your vehicle color to other visual styles

The main ways to work with vehicle paint are:

  • a `Mod Shop`
  • /svc
  • /getpaintcolor
  • `Dynamic Vehicle Colors` in /settings

How to change vehicle paint

To change your vehicle color:

  • go to a `Mod Shop`
  • choose the vehicle color option

You can also use:

/svc

How to check paint values

To check a vehicle's paint values:

  • sit inside the vehicle
  • use /getpaintcolor

This shows the vehicle's:

  • primary `R G B` paint values
  • secondary `R G B` paint values

Mod Shop paint-related options

A `Mod Shop` can change:

  • vehicle color
  • license plate
  • rims color
  • window tint
  • drivetrain
  • variants

Vehicle paint is one of the main appearance options there.

Dynamic Vehicle Colors

`Dynamic Vehicle Colors` is a color system in /settings.

It can match your vehicle to:

  • `Team Colors`
  • `Skin Colors`
  • `Group Colors`
  • `Tag Colors`

It also includes:

  • fixed styles
  • gradient styles
  • rainbow styles

To use it:

  • open /settings
  • search for the vehicle color setting
  • turn on `Dynamic Vehicle Colors`

Matching your vehicle to your skin

To match your vehicle color to your skin:

  • turn on `Dynamic Vehicle Colors` in /settings

Group Colors

`Group Colors` is one of the `Dynamic Vehicle Colors` options.

It lets official group members use:

  • their group chat color on their vehicle

Paintjobs and shaders

Custom paintjobs and vehicle shaders are separate from normal vehicle paint.

`Shaders` are:

  • custom paint jobs for vehicles and skins
  • linked to your account
  • reapplicable later

To open the vehicle shader panel, use:

/vehskin

Paintjob-supported vehicles include:

  • `BMX`
  • `Freeway`
  • `NRG-500`
  • `Sanchez`
  • `Blade`
  • `Broadway`
  • `Burrito`
  • `Flash`
  • `Jester`
  • `Remington`
  • `Shelby`
  • `Slamvan`
  • `Stratum`
  • `Savanna`
  • `Tornado`
  • `Towtruck`
  • `Uranus`
  • `Advanced Hummer`
  • `Banshee`
  • `Buffalo`
  • `Bullet`
  • `Cheetah`
  • `Comet`
  • `Cybertruck`
  • `Elegy`
  • `Elegy Drift`
  • `Hotknife`
  • `Infernus`
  • `Sabre`
  • `Sabre Turbo`
  • `Sultan`
  • `Stafford`
  • `Sultan RS`
  • `Super GT`
  • `Turismo`
  • `Voltic`
  • `ZR350`

Vehicle shader support is broader than the listed paintjob-supported vehicles.

Commands

Command Use
/svc Change your vehicle color
/getpaintcolor Show the vehicle's primary and secondary `R G B` paint values
/vehskin Open the vehicle shader panel

Notes

  • Normal vehicle paint and custom vehicle shaders are separate systems.
  • `Dynamic Vehicle Colors` is controlled in /settings.
  • `Group Colors` is part of the `Dynamic Vehicle Colors` system.
  • `Mod Shop` is the main place used for normal vehicle color changes.
