Weapon Sounds
Weapon Sounds is the custom weapon sound system in CIT.
Overview
`Weapon Sounds` lets you choose custom sounds for your weapons.
It uses:
/wepsounds
You can also control the general weapon-sound setting in:
/settings
Custom sound files
Custom weapon sound files must:
- end in
.wav - or end in
.mp3
They must be placed in this folder:
mods > deathmatch > resources > CITsounds > sounds
inside your `MTA` install folder.
How to change weapon sounds
To change your weapon sounds:
- open
/wepsounds - select the weapon from the list on the left
- select the sound from the list on the right
- press `Apply`
Turning custom weapon sounds on or off
To turn custom weapon sounds on or off:
- open
/settings - toggle `Custom Weapon Sounds`
Priority
The sound you pick in /wepsounds takes priority over:
- `Custom Weapon Sounds` in
/settings
Notes
- `Weapon Sounds` uses custom sound files stored in the `CITsounds` folder.
- Supported custom sound file types are
.wavand.mp3. /wepsoundsis the main menu for choosing weapon sounds.- The sound selected in
/wepsoundsoverrides the normal `Custom Weapon Sounds` setting.
