Ingame Browser

Ingame Browser is the built in web browser system in CIT. It lets you open supported websites without leaving the game.

Browser notes

The in game browser can be opened in more than one way:

/browse
the Browser app in CITPhone

The browser can be used while staying in game. Its window title is Web browser, followed by the page name when a page is open. It has an address box and buttons for back, forward, go, minimise and close. Bind it with /bind F3 browse.

How to open it

To open the in game browser, use:

/browse

You can also open it from:

B to open CITPhone
tap the Browser app

What it is used for

The in game browser lets you check online content without minimizing the game.

Common uses include:

guides
forums
videos
supported websites

Supported websites

The browser supports allowed websites.

Examples of supported domains include:

cit.gg
youtube.com

Other allowed domains can also be available through the browser settings.

Restricted websites

Some websites are restricted or unsupported in the in game browser.

The full blocked site list is not listed.

If a website does not open:

it may be unsupported
it may be restricted in the browser

Browser settings

To customize the browser settings:

press Esc
open Settings
go to Web Browser settings

Mini Browser

Mini Browser is not a CITPhone app. Use the Web Browser app instead.

Browser details

The in game browser works without leaving the game.

Some websites may not open because of browser restrictions.

Website whitelist prompt

The in game web browser asks players to whitelist website dependencies when needed.

Website permission prompt

When a website needs to load another website or dependency, the browser asks for permission. The permission window is titled Website requests.

Allow permits the request.
Deny blocks the request.
Remember decision reuses the same choice later.

Do not enter sensitive information on an untrusted website.
