Police Medic

Police Medic is a police job in CIT. It is one of the law jobs available inside LSPD, and it focuses on medical support while staying on the police side.

How to start

The Police Medic job marker is inside LSPD.

At 100,000 Arrest Points, you can also use /go Police Medic.

What Police Medic can do

Police Medic uses medic systems while on the law side.

Useful confirmed medic facts:

Police Medics can do the Paramedic side mission.
The side mission uses Ambulance or Medic Car.
While inside the correct vehicle, look for the red + icon, drive to it, press N, then press Space with the heartbeat revive prompt.
Medics can enter the Jefferson Motel to heal both cops and criminals.

How it works

Police Medic uses the medic system for healing and reviving.

Medic work includes:

healing injured players
rescuing injured NPCs in the medic side mission

Police Medic side mission

Police Medics can also do the medic side mission.

To do the side mission:

get in an Ambulance or Medic Car
look for the red + icon
drive to it
press N to begin the revive
press Space when the marker enters the box

This side mission rescues injured NPCs, not real players. Stand beside the selected ped and press N at Press 'N' to heal this ped.. In Patient's heartbeat, press Space when the moving rectangle is between the two target lines. Get 3 successes out of 5; taking too long fails with You failed and killed the patient!.

The red + icon only appears while you are inside:

Medic Notes

Police Medic is a police job, not a civilian job.
It is taken from the police station and is listed as one of the jobs inside LSPD.
Police Medics can use both the Ambulance and the Medic Car.
The Medic Car is one of the police vehicles that can be recovered without VIP from any location.

Police and medical abilities

Police Medic keeps the regular powers of a Police Officer and can heal players like a Medic. All weapons are allowed in Las Venturas, the LS DM area, and event dimensions. Outside those areas, Police Medics cannot use powerful weapons. Use the medical equipment near an injured player and follow the on screen controls.

Police Medics can use Ambulances and Medic Cars, play the Medic side mission, and have a slightly different nametag color. Completing the First Aid course in /courses gives a permanent perk that makes healing faster.

Police Medic skin IDs are 1004, 1005, 1115, 1120, 1121, and 1122.
