Fisherman

Fisherman is a civilian job where you catch fish from land or from a Reefer boat.

How to fish

Fisherman can be done from land near water or from a Reefer boat. The land side mission uses a fishing rod near rivers, lakes, or the ocean.

Reefer boat method

Drive the Reefer into the water, then fish from it by using the left button for fish and the right button for garbage until your net fills. Unload at the red S icon and move to a new area if the fish population drops too low.

How the job works

Fisherman is a resource job on the Civilian side.

You fish at water areas, collect fish, and progress through the job by selling fish.

How to start

To start the Fisherman job:

  1. Take the Fisherman job.
  1. Go to a water area.
  1. Start fishing.

You can fish at:

  • Lakes
  • Rivers
  • The ocean

You do not need a special location unless you want to use a Reefer boat.

The job is based around collecting fish and selling them.

Progression in the job is tracked by sold fish.

  • L1 Stevedore, 45,000 sold fish
  • L2 Deckhand, 135,000 sold fish
  • L3 Deck Cadet, 405,000 sold fish
  • L4 Ordinary Seaman, 900,000 sold fish
  • L5 Able Seaman, 1,800,000 sold fish
  • L6 Boatswain, 2,700,000 sold fish
  • L7 Third Mate, 3,600,000 sold fish
  • L8 Second Mate, 4,500,000 sold fish
  • L9 First Mate, 5,400,000 sold fish
  • L10 Captain, 6,750,000 sold fish

At Level 10, you unlock:
