Mod Shops

Mod Shops are vehicle customization locations in CIT. They are used to change visual and setup-related parts of a vehicle such as color, plate text, rims color, tint, drivetrain, and variants.

Overview

A Mod Shop can be used to customize:

vehicle color
license plate
rims color
window tint
drivetrain
variants
neon color

Some vehicle-related features can also be checked or changed alongside Mod Shop use, such as paint values and vehicle variants.

Locations

To find a Mod Shop:

use /gps
search for a mod shop
drive into it

What you can customize

Vehicle color

To change your vehicle color:

go to a Mod Shop
choose the color option

You can also use:

/svc

License plate

A Mod Shop can change:

your vehicle license plate

Rims color

A Mod Shop can change:

your rims color

Window tint

Window tint is a Mod Shop option that lets you:

tint your windows

Drivetrain

At a Mod Shop, you can switch your vehicle drivetrain between:

AWD
FWD
RWD

Vehicle variants

Vehicle variants are cosmetic versions of some vehicles.

They:

change the look
do not change the performance

To choose a vehicle variant:

go to a Mod Shop
open the Variants tab
choose a variant

Neon

Neon can be changed at a Mod Shop.

To add or remove neon:

go to a Mod Shop
open the color option
tick Neons Color
choose the color you want under your vehicle

To remove neon:

set the neon color to black

Each neon color change costs:

$1,500

Neon works on:

cars
bikes

Vehicles that cannot use neon

These vehicles cannot use neon:

Barracks
S.W.A.T.
Trashmaster
Caddy

Paint color values

To check a vehicle's paint values:

sit inside the vehicle
use /getpaintcolor

This shows the vehicle's:

primary R G B values
secondary R G B values

VIP-related vehicle color features

`VIP` players can change some lighting colors outside the Mod Shop.

These commands are:

/headlights to change headlight color
/neon to edit neon anywhere

/neon requires:

owned neon items

`/headlights`	Change headlight color if you are `VIP`
`/neon`	Edit neon anywhere if you are `VIP` and own neon items

Notes

Mod Shops are used for both appearance changes and some setup-related changes such as drivetrain.
Vehicle variants only change appearance.
Neon color can be removed by setting it to black.
