Group Allies and Alliances in CIT

In CIT, Group Allies are groups that have formed an alliance and are recognized with unique blips on the radar. Alliances allow groups to collaborate and interact more effectively by displaying ally information and enabling communication through alliance chat.

Displaying Group Allies on the Radar

  • Unique Blips: Allies are shown on your radar with a unique blip that is similar to group and squad blips, but with the letter "A" added to indicate they are allies.
  • Classic Blips: If you enable classic blips, allies will turn green on your radar. To enable classic blips:
    1. Go to /settings.
    2. Select Classic Group, Squad, Alliance Blips.
    3. Set to Yes.

Creating and Managing Alliances

  1. Create an Alliance: Use the command: /alliance
    • Only founders or leaders of the group can establish or remove alliances.
  2. Add Allies to Your Map: Use the command: /addally <groupname> This will show the ally group on your radar. To add all alliance groups, use /addally without specifying a group.
  3. Remove Allies from Your Map: Use the command: /deleteally <groupname>
    • To remove all alliance groups, use /deleteally without specifying a group.
  4. Accept an Alliance Invite: To accept an invite to an alliance, use: /acceptalliance <alliancename>
  5. Alliance Countdown: To set a countdown for an alliance event, use: /allycountd <seconds> <Reason> This sets a timer for the alliance action.

Alliance Chat

  • Alliance Chat: To send a message to your alliance, use: /ac <message> This will send your message only to members of your alliance.
  • Private Staff Chat: If you have access to the alliance private staff chat, use: /asc <text> to talk in the private staff chat.

Alliance Destination Blip

  1. Set an Alliance Destination Blip: Use the command: /mad This will open the map and allow you to select a location for your alliance destination.
  2. Remove Alliance Destination Blip: Use: /mad remove This will remove the set destination blip from the map.

Alliance Message of the Day

  • To set the Alliance Message of the Day, use: /amotd <message> This works similarly to /smotd (server message of the day) and /gmotd (group message of the day).
