VIP

VIP in CIT is a time based status that gives gameplay perks, utility features, recovery perks, and access to VIP related commands and customization tools.

VIP notes

VIP is based on:

VIP hours give benefits such as:

  • extra pay on most jobs
  • a higher earn limit
  • faster healing from medics
  • faster respawn
  • vehicle recovery to your location, with a 10 second delay while wanted
  • access to VIP only or VIP related features
  • tradable VIP hours through F7

VIP and Donator Levels are related, but they are not the same system.

How VIP Works

VIP uses VIP hours.

VIP notes:

  • VIP is time based
  • you need at least 10 VIP hours to unlock all VIP features
  • VIP time runs down by 0.1 hours per 6 minutes online; offline it runs at 10% of the online speed, and DL1+ accounts do not lose VIP time while offline
  • after buying VIP, reconnect if the perks do not show right away

How to get VIP

You can become VIP by:

Main VIP Benefits

Benefit Details
Extra task money and resources VIP gives 20% more task money and resources on most jobs
Extra earn limit VIP gives 20% more earn limit
Medic healing Medics heal VIP players twice as quickly
Respawn speed VIP gives a faster respawn
Vehicle recovery VIP can recover vehicles to the player. Without wanted levels it is immediate; while wanted, it takes 10 seconds
Trading VIP hours can be sold through F7
Extra access VIP includes exclusive skins and vehicles, and access to VIP areas and events

Job Bonus Note

VIP gives:

  • 20% extra pay on most jobs

Exception:

VIP Vehicle Recovery

VIP changes how vehicle recovery works.

To recover a vehicle:

  • open F2
  • or use /vehicles
  • select the vehicle
  • click Recover

With VIP recovery:

  • the vehicle can come to your location
  • without wanted levels, the vehicle appears immediately
  • while wanted, the vehicle appears after 10 seconds

Without VIP recovery:

  • the vehicle goes to the recovery point
  • or to the nearest allowed spawner instead

A vehicle goes to the recovery point instead of near you if:

  • your VIP hours ended
  • you took damage recently

VIP recovery abuse

VIP recovery is not punishable by itself.

It becomes punishable if you use it to:

  • get inside inaccessible areas
  • go through walls

VIP and Donator Levels

VIP hours and Donator Levels are separate systems.

A key interaction between them is:

  • Donator Level 3 gives VIP benefits even when you have 0 VIP hours

VIP details

  • VIP hours are tradable through F7
  • VIP time decreases more slowly while offline
  • some older systems related to donations and donor perks are separate from VIP itself
