Vehicle Recovery

From CIT Wiki

Vehicle Recovery

Vehicle Recovery is the system used to bring back your owned vehicle in CIT. It is mainly done through the `F2` Vehicle Manager or with /recover.

Overview

Vehicle recovery is used when:

  • your vehicle is far away
  • you want to bring it back
  • you want it near you
  • you want it sent to a recovery point or allowed spawner

The main recovery methods are:

  • `F2`
  • /vehicles
  • /recover

How to recover a vehicle

To recover a vehicle normally:

  • press F2
  • or use /vehicles
  • select the vehicle
  • click `Recover`

You can also use:

/recover

This recovers the vehicle that is currently selected in `F2`.

How /recover works

/recover works only with:

  • the vehicle currently selected in `F2`

It is useful if:

  • you do not want to open the Vehicle Manager every time
  • you want to bind recovery to a key

VIP recovery

With `VIP` Hours:

  • your vehicle can be recovered to your location

Exception:

  • this does not work when you are wanted

If you are wanted:

  • the vehicle does not recover directly to you

Non-VIP recovery

Without `VIP` Hours:

  • the vehicle goes to the recovery point
  • or the nearest allowed spawner instead

Non-`VIP` recovery depends on:

  • your role
  • your team
  • your current job

Why a vehicle goes to the recovery point

Your vehicle goes to the recovery point instead of spawning near you if:

  • you are wanted
  • your `VIP` Hours ended
  • you took damage recently

Recover and Pick are not the same

In `F2`, `Recover` and `Pick` are different.

`Recover`:

  • uses the recovery system

`Pick`:

  • spawns the selected vehicle where it was last spawned

You can also:

  • double click a vehicle in `F2` to use `Pick`
