Vehicle Manager (F2)
Vehicle Manager
Vehicle Manager is the CIT vehicle control panel opened with F2.
It is the main menu used to manage owned vehicles.
Overview
Vehicle Manager lets you:
- recover vehicles
- hide vehicles
- sell vehicles
- lock or unlock vehicles
- blip or unblip vehicles
- pick a selected vehicle
- open View Data
- search your vehicle list
- organize vehicles with categories
You can open it with:
F2/vehicles
Main Vehicle List
The vehicle list in `F2` shows each vehicle's:
HPFuelUpg.
The panel is used to select one of your vehicles, then apply actions to it.
Pick
The Pick option:
- spawns the selected vehicle where it was last spawned
You can also:
- double click the vehicle instead of selecting it once and then clicking `Pick`
Recover
To recover a vehicle through `F2`:
- open
F2 - select the vehicle
- click Recover
You can also use:
/recover
/recover works on:
- the vehicle currently selected in `F2`
Recovery rules
With `VIP` recovery:
- the vehicle can come to your location
- this does not work when you are wanted
Without `VIP`:
- the vehicle goes to the recovery point
- or to the nearest allowed spawner instead
A vehicle also goes to the recovery point instead of near you if:
- you are wanted
- your `VIP` hours ended
- you took damage recently
Sell
To sell a vehicle in `F2`:
- open
F2 - select the vehicle
- click Sell
- confirm
Vehicle selling rules:
- vehicles sell back to the server only
- selling deducts
20%from the original buy price
The `Hydra` follows the same rule.
Lock and Unlock
Vehicle Manager can lock or unlock a vehicle.
You can do that from:
F2/lock
Documented lock-access notes:
- your married partner can still enter your locked vehicle
- your `CITBook` friends can still enter your locked vehicle
- group mates and alliance mates can still enter it as passengers
View Data
The View Data option in `F2` opens the vehicle-data panel.
You can also open it with:
/vehdata
`/vehdata` shows:
- data for your owned vehicles
- vehicle stats
- vehicle modifications
Categories
Vehicle Manager supports categories for organizing vehicles.
The documented category action is:
Add or Remove Spawned Vehicle
To use it:
- open
F2 - click a category on the right side
- click a vehicle
- use
Add or Remove Spawned Vehicle
This moves the vehicle:
- to the selected category
- or out of the selected category
Other F2 Actions
The KB also documents these built-in `F2` actions:
- hide
- blip
- unblip
- search your list
The live KB confirms those actions exist in the Vehicle Manager, but does not describe extra behavior beyond that.
Related Limits and Notes
Important `F2` limits:
- `F2` does not work inside apartments
- use
/createveh <vehicle>inside apartments instead - vehicles do not go inside houses
- recover them to the house entrance from `F2` instead
