LV Gangster
LV Gangster
LV Gangster is the Las Venturas side of gangster gameplay in CIT.
Overview
LV is the gangster and turf-war city.
LV gangster gameplay is built around turfing, group fights, Briefcases, Hijack missions, and gangster PvP.
To play properly in LV, you need to be on gangster side and be in a gang or group.
One important difference is that LV Gangsters can use grenades and RPGs.
LS Gangsters cannot.
How To Start
To become a gangster:
- Use /gangster, or press X and click Go Gangster.
- Join a gang or group.
- Focus on LV turfing, group fights, Briefcases, Hijack missions, and gangster tools.
Gangsters mainly make money from:
- Turf payouts
- Group rewards
- Briefcases
- Hijack missions
How LV Turfing Works
LV turfing is group based.
To take part:
- Be on gangster side.
- Be in a gang or group.
- Enter the turf zone.
- Stay inside and defend it.
In LV, the turf is taken by standing in it and defending it.
Turfs belong to groups, not solo players.
Up to 4 players from the same group count for standing progress.
If you get killed, your group's control goes down.
Defending or re-entering the turf stops the other group from taking it.
If your group has nobody online in LV, its turf percent drops 3 times faster.
LV Turfs
Las Venturas has 78 turfs.
These are split into:
- 60 land turfs
- 13 sea turfs
- 5 oil turfs
Oil turfs are the 5 LV turfs that give oil instead of cash.
LV Turf Rewards
Holding LV turfs gives group rewards.
These can include:
- Passive income
- Group reputation or XP
- Drugs
- Oil
- Iron
- Other resources
A defended turf gives your group reputation.
Holding it also keeps its passive payout.
LV turf pay depends on:
- How many turfs your group owns
- How many group members are actively turfing
Turfing also gives 120+ RP depending on your activity and time in the turf.
Special LV turf payouts
These LV turfs pay a random drug instead of cash:
- West Whitewood Estates
- East Whitewood Estates
- KACC
- LV Advanced Biking
- Come-A-Lot
This LV turf pays iron instead of cash:
- Greenglass College
Other LV Gangster Activities
Briefcase
Briefcase is a gangster-only competitive task in LV.
In LV, the Briefcase shows on the map as a green dollar sign.
A gangster picks it up and runs it on foot to the van blip while other players try to kill them and steal it.
While carrying the Briefcase:
- You cannot glue
- You cannot enter vehicles
- You can use /dropitem to drop it
Hijack
Hijack is another gangster activity.
To start it:
- Join gangster side.
- Look for the purple car blip.
- Enter the vehicle to start the mission.
Other gangsters can interfere and steal the vehicle if you are too slow or stop moving.
Hijack gives cash and 1,000 RP.
The cash reward depends on gangster count and delivery distance.
