ATM
ATMs are used in CIT for banking, money transfers, and checking your balance.
Overview
ATMs are the main way to access your bank money.
You can use them to:
- Deposit money
- Withdraw money
- Transfer money
- Check your balance
- Use PIN-protected withdrawals
You can also use the Mobile ATM after unlocking it.
How To Open an ATM
You can open the ATM GUI in 2 ways:
- Use `/atm`
- Stand in an ATM marker
To find the nearest ATM, use:
- `/batm`
ATM Features
The ATM GUI shows your balance and includes these main options:
- Deposit
- Withdraw
- Transfer
- Show Players
How To Use It
Deposit money
To deposit money:
- Open the ATM with `/atm` or an ATM marker.
- Enter the amount.
- Press `Deposit`.
Withdraw money
To withdraw money:
- Open the ATM.
- Enter the amount.
- Press `Withdraw`.
Withdrawals can be PIN-protected.
Transfer money
To send money to another player:
- Open the ATM or Mobile ATM.
- Enter the amount.
- Use `Show Players` to choose an online player, or type their account name in the account box.
- Press `Transfer`.
You can also transfer money to offline players by typing their account name directly.
Check your balance
You can check your balance by:
- Opening the ATM GUI
- Using `/bankbalance`
Mobile ATM
Mobile ATM is the phone version of the ATM system.
To unlock it, complete:
- `Safe Online Banking` in `/courses`
After unlocking it, you can use:
- `CITPhone > Mobile ATM`
- `/mobileatm`
PIN Code
A PIN protects your bank withdrawals.
To set or change your PIN, use:
- `/setpin`
Limits and Restrictions
If a transfer is not working, possible reasons include:
- You hit your weekly send limit
- You do not have enough money
- You have transfer restrictions from rule violations
If people cannot send you money, possible reasons include:
- You hit your weekly receive limit
- You have transfer restrictions from rule violations
To check your send or receive limit, use:
- `B > Event times`
Weekly Receive Limits
Weekly receive limits are based on play time:
- Less than 20 hours: `$20,000,000`
- Less than 80 hours: `$100,000,000`
- Less than 400 hours: `$250,000,000`
- Less than 1000 hours: `$400,000,000`
- 1000+ hours: `$500,000,000`
Weekly Send Limits
Weekly send limits are:
- Regular players without a Donator Level: `$400,000,000`
- `DL1`: `$500,000,000`
- `DL2`: `$600,000,000`
- `DL3`: `$700,000,000`
Bank Notes
The bank stores money safely with no limit.
You can only carry:
- `$90,000,000` on hand
Bank money stays safe if you die or get arrested.
Tips
Useful ATM tips:
- Bank money often
- Set a PIN
- Do not walk around with the full `$90,000,000` cash carry limit
- Use `/batm` when you need the nearest ATM
- Unlock Mobile ATM through `Safe Online Banking` for quicker access
